Northern Rivers restrictions from 5 pm Wednesday 31 March – masks-limited numbers-no singing

In light of the new restrictions announced on Wednesday 31 March by the NSW Government for the Northern Rivers area,  and the latest memo from Bishop Greg this afternoon, masks will be mandatory for everyone over 12 years old at Mass and all Easter ceremonies this weekend. Please ensure you bring your own mask as we cannot guarantee we will have spare ones available.  We will have to revert to the 4 square metre rule over the Easter weekend, which means that we are again limited in the numbers able to attend at any one time – a maximum of 120 at each of the Triduum ceremonies and Masses.

Our bookings are now FULL for the Easter Triduum ceremonies and for 8 am Mass on Easter Sunday.  There are still some seats available for 10 am Mass on Sunday. Please call if you have not yet booked for Mass.

Please ensure you arrive early to Mass to allow for check-in and observe social distancing.

And sadly, singing has been prohibited over Easter.

It is disappointing to have these restrictions imposed for Holy Week and Easter but we hope that you will still join in this special time of prayer as a parish faith community.
