Please join our Catholic community for the final Masses at St Columba’s Catholic Church Uki on Sunday 9 February 2025 at 10 am and St Brigid’s Catholic Church Burringbar on Sunday 23 February 2025 at 10 am. Both our Masses will be celebrated by Fr Paul McDonald Vicar General and Fr Peter Wood Parish Administrator.
All are welcome to attend – current and past parishioners, students of both St Joseph’s schools and local community members – all are invited to be part of these special moments in history.
Both St Columba’s (1911) and St Brigid’s (1904) have served their local communities for over 100 years and have witnessed countless Masses, Baptisms, Weddings and community gatherings throughout their history.
Please bring a plate to share for the morning tea after each Mass. If anyone has any special memorabilia they’d like to display at each church for the final masses, please contact the Parish Office.
Please note that there will be NO 9 am Sunday Mass in Sacred Heart Church Murwillumbah on either of these Sundays. The 6 pm Saturday Vigil Mass will be the only Mass in town on these two weekends.
