Important Information about Masses and Other Activities/Services in the Church-April 2021

NUMBER ATTENDING:  The number permitted to attend Mass and any other activity /service in the Church is determined by the 2 square metre rule.  There is no need to pre-book for our regular weekend Masses.   Note that country churches remain closed. CHECK-IN ON ARRIVAL:  It is still necessary to “check-in” as you arrive at Mass – you may scan the unique QR code on your smartphone or one of our hospitality team will take your name and contact details on our Mass Attendance Sheet. Northern Rivers restrictions from 5 pm Wednesday 31 March – masks-limited numbers-no singing

In light of the new restrictions announced on Wednesday 31 March by the NSW Government for the Northern Rivers area,  and the latest memo from Bishop Greg this afternoon, masks will be mandatory for everyone over 12 years old at Mass and all Easter ceremonies this weekend. Please ensure you bring your own mask as we cannot guarantee we will have spare ones available.  We will have to revert to the 4 square metre rule over the Easter weekend, which means that we are again limited in the numbers able to attend at any one time – a maximum of 120 at each of the Triduum ceremonies and Masses.
